Liberia: Senate Elects Its Representatives to International Organizations

The Liberian Senate, during its 56th day sitting elected its Representatives to International Parliamentary organizations.

The election which was presided over by Senate pro-tempoer, Gbenhnzongar Findley, was held under a peaceful atmosphere.

Those elected were, Grand Gedeh County Senior Senator, Isaac Nyenebo and Monsterrado County Senator, Geraldine, Doe Sheriff respectively to the International Parliamentary Union(IPU) while Senators Sando Johnson of Bomi County and Thomas Grupee of Nimba county were elected to the African Caribian Pacific-European Union(ACP-EU)

Also elected was Bong County Senator, Henry Yallah to the Palm African Parliament (PAP) who will join Monsterrado County Senator, Joice Musu Freeman Sumo. While Lofa and Gbarpolu Counties Senators, George T. Tengbe and Armah Z. Jallah respectively were elected to the African Parliament (AP).

All of the senators elected, accumulated the total votes of twenty two each.
