Egypt: President Reviews Security Situation in Port Said, Daqahliya, Cairo

President Mohamed Morsi reviewed on Wednesday 6/3/2013 the security situation in Port Said, Daqahliya and some areas in Cairo.

In a meeting with the Minister of Interior and heads of security bodies at the Presidential Palace, the President was assured about the readiness and the capacity of police to keep security of citizens and the different institutions of the State.

During the meeting, Morsi stressed that the Ministry should provide its personnel with the proper social and professional care and to provide them with comprehensive programs for training and medical and social care.

The President stressed the necessity to protect peaceful demonstrators and the necessity to arrest troublemakers.

He also hailed the role played by the troops in supporting policemen vital places.
