Egypt: Morsi, Libyan PM Discuss Issues of Mutual Concern

President Mohamed Morsi received Thursday 07/03/2013 at the Presidential Palace in Heliopolis visiting Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zaidan.

The meeting took up means of boosting cooperation and several issues of mutual concern, including securing common borders and consular issues between Egypt and Libya.

Talks between Morsi and Zaidan also tackled means of boosting the security of the Egyptians living in Libya, said a statement by presidency.

The talks dealt with means of boosting bilateral ties along with regional and international issues of mutual concern, mainly the Syrian crisis, the statement added.

Present at the talks was Egypt's Prime Minister Hisham Qandil.

Zaidan and Qandil briefed Morsi on the outcome of their meeting held earlier in the day. The two premiers agreed to increase investment projects between the two countries.
