Lagos — Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja will today experience 30 minutes' power cut between 10 a.m and 10:30 a.m.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said the temporary disconnection of power supply is to enable its engineers switch over to a new and improved source of power supply to the airport.
"It is expected that the new source of power supply will drastically reduce the incidents of power outage and thereby enhance service delivery at the airport.
"The power improvement project, which is taking place simultaneously in major airports across the country, is designed by the Federal Government to improve electric power supply at all airports, as part of the Transformation Agenda in the aviation industry," FAAN said in a statement.
