Rwanda: Women Urged to Be Self-Confident

AS RWANDANS joined the rest of the world to celebrate the International Women's Day yesterday, women in Huye district were urged to champion for their rights and work hard to prove their ability to contribute to the welfare of their families and the nation's development.

Speaking during the celebrations to mark the day, the district mayor, Eugene Kayiranga Muzuka, told women that they have the required skills and strengths to make an impact in their communities but that some of them lacked self-confidence.
