Kenya: Ex-MP?s Daughter Wins Narok Women?s Seat

THE daughter of former Narok South MP Samson Tuya, Soipan Tuya beat the daughter of outgoing Heritage Minister William Ntimama, Lydia Masikonte to win women's representative in the just-concluded polls.

Soipan got 108,381 votes against Mercy Cherotich (Independent) who garnered 53,981 votes while Lydia (ODM) was trailing in the third position with 28,497votes.
