Egyptian Parliamentary Delegation Eyes More German Investments, Tourism

A Shura Council delegation, now visiting the German capital of Berlin, held a series of meetings with the German side in the presence of Egypt's Ambassador to Germany Mohamed Hegazi to probe means of boosting cooperation in the various domains.

The meetings addressed ways to support the tourism sector in Egypt, promote German investments in Egypt, develop vocational and technical education programs and convey the German expertise in democratic transition and building state's institutions, Hegazi said.

The Egyptian delegation posted the German side on the democratic path in the country and attempts to contain the present political divisions that took place after the January revolution, Hegazi added.
