Zimbabwe: Pius Attends MDC Meeting

Bulawayo Bureau — THE former Roman Catholic Archbishop for Bulawayo, Pius Ncube attended an MDC-organised meeting recently, raising eyebrows that the disgraced man of the cloth could probably be venturing into politics. Ncube was last Thursday spotted attending the meeting at the Zimbabwe Allied Workers Union building located at Lobengula Street and First Avenue at about 11 am.

The controversial cleric was not immediately available for comment yesterday, but MDC's youth wing organising secretary, Mr Descent Bajila, who was one of the speakers confirmed his attendance.
