Gambia: Three Transport Association Members Charged With 12 Counts of False Information

Alhajie Filijeh Sulayman Nyassy, Juldeh Bah and Mama Samba Barry of the Gambia National Transport Control Association (GNTCA) yesterday appeared before presiding Magistrate Dawda Jallow of the Banjul Magistrates' court charged with eleven counts of allegedly giving false information to a public officer contrary to section 114 of the Criminal Code, laws of The Gambia.

They all pleaded not guilty as charged and were granted bail in the sum of D100,000 with one Gambian surety who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposits his National Identity Card.
