Kenya: Uhuru Kenyatta Will Not Be Sworn in Just Yet

Cord coaltion has accused the electoral body of frustrating their petition by denying the important poll documents.

President elect Uhuru Kenyatta will not be sworn in until a petition to be filed by the CORD coalition at the Supreme Court is heard and determined. The swearing in ceremony was meant to take place on 26th March, but that could be moved forward to give the Supreme Court at least 14 days to hear and determine the petition.
