Tunisians swarm Bourguiba Avenue to commemorate the second anniversary of the revolution.

Hundreds of people marched Saturday (March 9th) along Habib Bourguiba Avenue in Tunis in an anti-government protest, initially planned in support of women's rights, AFP reported.

Protesters denounced political violence, all forms of discrimination against women and chanted slogans against the Ennahda-led government, according to TAP.

"The people demand the fall of the regime!" protesters shouted as they carried placards criticising the composition of a new cabinet announced on Friday, claiming that the reshuffle was a mere farce.

The line-up proposed by Prime Minister-designate Ali Larayedh will go before the National Constituent Assembly on Tuesday.
