New York — The minister of Family Issues and Promotion of Women, Filomena Delgado, last Sunday held a meeting with members of the Angolan community residing in the North American states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, to whom he informed about the measures of the Angolan Executive aimed at eliminating gender violence.
The meeting, which also had a fraternisation character, was held in the Pilgrim Community Church in Elisabeth City, New Jersey, in the ambit of the commemorations of the national and international women's day (March 02 and 08 respectively).
