Egypt: Public Prosecution Denies Giving Citizens Power of Arrest

The official Spokesman for the Public Prosecution Counselor Moustafa Dowaidar said no decisions giving citizens the power of arrest to citizens were made.

Statement issued by the Public Prosecutor office said on Monday 11/3/2013 the power of arrest is given to policemen and members of the army during their assignment of apprehending saboteurs and automakers.
