Maputo — Hidroelectrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), the company that operates the Cahora Bassa dam on the Zambezi River, announced on Tuesday that a sabotaged pylon on the line carrying electricity from the sub-station at the dam town of Songo, to Matambo, outside Tete city, has been repaired.
The pylon toppled over on 1 March, at the village of Cavulacie, 32 kilometres from the dam town of Songo.
