Kenya: DTB Expands Kenya Branch Network 44

Diamond Trust Bank has opened five new branches in Kenya in its effort to increase its presence locally and regionally.Four of the branches are in the coast region; Mariakani, Mtwapa, Lamu and Kilifi and one in Westlands, Nairobi.

It now has 44 branches in Kenya . The bank also operates in Uganda, Tanzania, and Burundi."We will continue to aggressively implement our network expansion plan across Eastern and Central Africa region in line with the bank's strategic objective of becoming a recognized Pan African Bank," DTB Managing Director Nasim Devji said in a statement DTB held a rights issue last year to raise money for the regional expansion where it raised Sh3.36 billion, against a target of sh1.8 billion.
