Kenya: Man Arrested in Mwea Town Slum As Sh113,000 Church Items Stolen

Police have arrested a man who broke and stole church items on Sunday night in Mwea. Police chief Apollo Onyonyi, 39, said they arrested the man at his house in Githogondo slums, Mwea town.

He said that 69 plastic chairs, sound systems, table clothes and other items all valued at Sh113,950. Onyonyi said the items were stolen from the Seventh Day Adventist church on May 10.
