BRITISH Airways has increased flight frequency on the Nairobi-London route signaling an upcoming boom for the local tourism market which benefits highly from UK tourists.
The move could also be in anticipation of diverted traffic from Tanzania where the airline will suspend direct flights between Dar-es Salaam and London from end of March.
BA said it will increase its capacity to 266 seats per week through an additional flight. Previously BA had a flight from Nairobi to London daily.
"Kenya is a growing economy and the additional flight has been scheduled as an overnight service so our customers, particularly those traveling on business, can make the most of their time," said BA regional commercial manager for Africa Ian Petrie
