Nigeria: ACN Accuse INEC, PDP of Deceit Over APC Registration

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has accused both the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of engaging lies and manipulation of facts by claiming that the phantom African Peoples Congress has applied to the commission for registration.

The party said its findings have revealed that the phantom political party with same acronym as APC has not complied with legal provision on the application for party registration but that it was merely being used as ploy to destabilized genuine efforts of the opposition coalition to form a merger.
