Africa's Oscar Showcases Fashion and Glamour

The much talked about 2013 African Magic Viewer's Choice awards was punctuated by fashion and glamour.

The red carpet segment of the awards showcased various African stars all decked out in the best of African designs to the nines. The hosts for the show especially Vimbai had severally wardrobe changes during the show. Some of which were ill fitting and looked amorphous.

Anyhow, Kenyan nominees did not disappoint. They brought it, with their selection of fashion.

They were Maureen Koech who bagged the Best Supporting Actress for Lies That Bind, Marie Lora-Mungai and Gado who picked the trophy for Best Television Series and filmmaker Ng'endo Mukii for her directorial role in the movie Yellow Fever which won the Best Short Film award.

The awards also paid tribute to fallen star Goldie. Singer Tiwa Savage started her performance with Goldie's song Say My Name before proceeding to perform her hit Ife Wa Gbona.
