Kenya: Senator Loser Praises Winners

A loser in the Kiambu senator race has congratulated governor-elect William Kabogo and senator-designate Kimani Wamatangi. Speaking in Limuru yesterday, Terry Kairu said that she was satisfied that Kiambu has new leadership.

"I am happy that the election was concluded without incidents of violence and irregularities. I therefore wish all who have been elected to the top and other positions the best as they work for the people as servants of goodwill," she said.

Kairu congratulated praised President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta. She called upon the leaders to prioritise people's needs and shun tribalism. Kairu garnered 8,131 in the race.

She said she will go back to her financial adviser job. Kiambu Senator Aspirant in the just concluded general election Terry Kairu has congratulated Governor elect William Kabogo and senator-elect .
