Kenya: Mombasa Council Workers Strike Enter Day Two

Operations at the Mombasa city council have been paralyzed for the second day following a workers strike. Over 2,000 workers have downed their tools and are camping at the council offices demanding salary arrears amounting to over 200 million shillings. Mombasa Town clerk Tubman Otieno says they are waiting for treasury to release the money.
