Egyptian Industrial Zone to Be Established in Juba

Egypt plans to establish an Egyptian industrial zone in Juba on a two million square meter area to be mainly concerned with agricultural manufacturing, said visiting Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Qandil.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit of Juba on Thursday 14/03/2013, Qandil said Egypt will offer logistic assistance to establish the zone, near Juba Airport, to attract Egyptian and South Sudanese businesspeople.

The production of the zone will go primarily to Egypt and regional countries, he said.
