POLICE in Dar es Salaam have sounded a warning to city dwellers to be more vigilant following a new wave of crime in which suspected thieves snatch items from unsuspecting pedestrians and use motorcycles to get away. Several city dwellers have fallen victims to the new wave.
The suspected thieves seem to be more interested in easily carried items such as ladies' handbags, mobile phones and laptop computers among others.
