South Africa: Masilela Withdrawn From Bafana Bafana Squad Due to Injury

A knee injury has forced defender Tsepo Masilela to be withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad to face the Central African Republic (CAR) in a 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil qualifier that will be played on Saturday, 23 March 2013 at Cape Town Stadium.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 20h15.

The Kaizer Chiefs defender missed his club's Nedbank Cup encounter against Polokwane City on Saturday, 16 March due to the recurring injury.

Bafana coach Gordon Igesund has named Tebogo Langerman of Mamelodi Sundowns as Maselela's replacement.

The squad assembles on Monday morning, 18 March at 08h00 and departs for Cape Town at 10h00.

On arrival in Mother City at 12h00, Bafana Bafana will visit an Absa branch in Khayelitsha where they will sign autographs and mingle with the fans.
