Kenya: The Elderly Plead for Their Funds

MWINGI Old and vulnerable people have urged the incoming government to continue supporting them with the old age funds.

"Though we have received the cash in the past, we don't know if this will continue with the new government. We urge the government to continue helping us," said Muthakye Kilo. The old lady from Kiomo location was speaking on behalf of 750 old people who were receiving their money at the postal office in Mwingi market.

"Our biggest worry is the support being cut off."
