The trial of Kinkizi East MP Dr Chris Baryomunsi and Mulago hospital pathologist Dr Sylvester Onzivua flopped again last week after prosecution claimed it had no police file.
The two doctors are jointly charged with conspiracy to commit a felony in handling the postmortem examination of Cerinah Nebanda's body samples.
But when defence lawyers David Mpanga and Abdu Katuntu challenged state attorney Peace Biira's contention, she was able to produce the police file after an hour's adjournment, and confirmed that investigations are complete.
Chief Magistrate Olive Kazaarwe adjourned the case to April 4 when prosecution will present its witnesses.
