Farmers want the government to urgently address the debt dispute at the National Cereals and Produce Board which has caused delays in importation of subsidized fertilizer. Cheranganyi MP elect Wesley Korir says they will this week meet with government officials on behalf of the farmers to find a solution. The delay has led to increased prices of the commodity in the open markets by more than 30 percent.
