19 March 2013
Appeals by former president Hosni Mubarak, former prime minister Ahmed Nazif and former interior minister Habib el-Adli against a court ruling in the communications blackout case were referred to the first circuit of Egypt's Supreme Administrative Court to be examined during a May 11 session.
The ousted Egyptian president and his two co-defendants are challenging a verdict obliging them to pay a fine of 540 million pounds for cutting off mobile and internet services in the midst of the January 25 revolution.
