A 30 year-old man was yesterday charged in a Thika court with stealing a motorcycle. John Getage Chuka denied committing the offence on March 15 at Kiganjo, Thika, in Kiambu county when he appeared before senior principal magistrate Martha Mutuku.
The court was told Chuka stole motorcycle worth Sh83,000 from Edwin Odonya Okwemba. He was remanded in custody after failing to raise Sh50,000 bond with surety of similar amount. Hearing was fixed for April 18.
