Eritreans in South Africa Ready to Back National Development

Asmara — Eritrean community members in South Africa have expressed readiness to back up the national development drive. They made the pledge at a meeting they conducted in Johannesburg city during which they lauded government endeavors as regards expanding economic investment prospects in the Homeland.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saleh Omar, the Eritrean Ambassador to the country and Southern Africa region, pointed out that remarkable development accomplishments have been registered in the Homeland on the basis of the policy of self-reliance, and called on the nationals to become beneficiaries of the new investment prospects.

The participants of the meeting commended the active participation of EDF members and nationals in the implementation of development programs, and said that they would sustain their staunch resistance against external conspiracies.
