Egypt: Armed Forces Demine 26,000 Feddans in Alamein

The Armed Forces and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation have completed removing mines in Egypt's western desert as part of the second phase of a project aimed at demining this area.

Military engineers demined a total of 26,000 feddans for the Housing Ministry to establish the one-million cities in Alamein area.

The project is part of a joint cooperation protocol between the Executive Secretariat for the Demining and Development of the North West Coast and the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
