Luanda — The Angolan soprano Géssica Santos will present on March 27, in Luanda, her lyric songs album entitled "Momentos de harmonia" (Moments of harmony), which includes classic tunes written by Puccini, Verdi and Gounod and features songs that belong to the renowned musicians Bonga and Consuela Velázquez.
According to the artist, "Momento de harmonia" is a lyric album that also includes some light popular songs of Angola, such as "Paxi ni ngongo", and other known songs like "Bésame mucho" and "Canon of Peace".
The eleven-track album has songs sung in Kimbundu (Angolan vernacular language), Italian, Spanish, Latin, French and German. It was recorded in Angola and the USA, with musical production of Raimundo Santos.
The album also features duets with Ralph Rafael and Nelson Hebo.
Since the year 2000, Géssica Santos has participated in various ceremonies, recitals and concerts in Angola, Portugal, Brazil, Belgium and England.
