Nigeria: Transmission Crisis Paralyses Power Supply

The current instability in power supply has been linked to the inability of the transmission network to carry new lines, thereby aggravating the epileptic supply situation, THISDAY has learnt.

Electricity supply was early last week disrupted by the total system collapse of the transmission network, which resulted in several hours of darkness across the country until the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) restored the supply.
