São Tomé and Príncipe: Head of State Writes to Sao Tome Colleague

São Tomé — A message from the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, to his colleague of São Tomé and Principe, Manuel Pinto da Costa, was handed over on Thursday by the minister of Assistance and Social Reintegration, João Baptista Kussumua, Angop has learnt.

While on visit to the archipelago, the Angolan official told press that the audience with Manuel Pinto da Costa also served to analyse the friendship and co-operation relations between the two countries.

João Baptista Kussumua said it is important that there is no a gap in the bilateral relations.

It has been called regular talks in the different matters, he said.

The Angolan official also met the local Premier, Gabriel da Costa, being that the bilateral co-operation was also debated. He also saw the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Communities, Natália Umbelina, and of Health, Leonel Pontes.

All the meetings were witnessed by the Angolan ambassador there, Alfredo Mingas.
