Egypt: Morsi - I Am President of All Egyptians

In an open discussion session he held with the students of Akhbar el-Youm Academy, President Mohamed Morsi said that he will announce soon pleasant news to help solve the problems of the citizens.

The president said that he welcomes all views that serve the best interests of the homeland.

Although I belong to the Brotherhood group, I am the president of all Egyptians and work for serving the interests of the homeland away from any personal interests, Morsi told the gathering.

Asked on the current developments in Sinai, Morsi affirmed that the situation in Sinai is largely stable, noting that giant projects are currently being implemented in Sinai and Suez Canal cities.

President Morsi expressed during the meeting his regret over the attempts of some people to undermine the Egyptian 25th January revolution, affirming that he saves no effort to foil such attempts.

He said that the current atmosphere is suitable for holding the parliamentary elections, promising that he will do everything possible to guarantee the transparency and fairness of these elections.
