Eritrea: 50 Youths Receive Training On Script Writing and Acting

Asmara — The PFDJ Cultural Affairs graduated 50 artists trained for about five months on basic script writing, acting, directing, filming as well as lighting and cinematography.

During the graduation ceremony conducted on 27 March at Cinema Asmara, Mr. Alemseged Tesfai, historian and researcher, indicated that vigorous effort is required to produce talented youth artists and commended all those exerting efforts to develop the sector and bequeath the field for generations.

The representative of the graduates on his part said that the training they received would help them as a stepping stone for further developing their skills and expressed appreciation for the opportunity they were provided.

The program was highlighted with a short film "Wursi" and "Eleni" original drama highlighting the heroism of Eritrean women.
