Nigeria: JTF Foils Kano Suicide Bombing Plot, Kill 14 Insurgents

Kano — The Joint Task Force in Kano has disclosed that it killed 14 Boko Haram members in a raid on a compound on Sunday morning in Unguwa Uku area in Tarauni Local Government area of the state.

The JTF also said it recovered a Volkswagen Golf car laden with bombs which was to be used for a suicide bombing attack today.

One soldier was also killed in the raid which lasted for almost four hours.
