Egypt: Prime Minister - Interior Ministry's Media Department Conveys a True Image of Policemen Efforts

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim inspected on Thursday 28/03/2013 the ministry's Media Department offices during a visit to the General Department for Information and Relations.

The director of the department Major General Abdel Fattah Othman reviewed ways to develop and modernize methods of maintaining communication with media to illustrate the strategy of the ministry which aims to serve the public.

PM Qandil praised efforts of the General Department for Information and Relations to convey a true image of the efforts the policemen are exerting to achieve security for citizens.

He stressed that the media is playing an important role to deepen the values of stability in the society thus reflecting efforts of the State's institutions with purpose of achieving progress and stability.

Qandil hailed the ongoing efforts to restore security to the Egyptian street.
