Nigeria: Army Re-Trains Soldiers On Weapon Handling

Kaduna — The Nigerian Army has commenced retraining of its men on weapon handling as part of efforts to tackle security challenges in the country.

Speaking in Kaduna on Thursday, General Officer Commanding 1 Division of the Nigerian Army in Kaduna, Major General Garba Wahab said the retraining will go a long way to reduce accidental discharge of bullets, firing and other mishaps in the course of carrying out their duties, noting that it is an annual re-training of all soldiers.
