Nigeria: Politicians Blamed for Poor Education Standard

Kaduna — The Executive Chairman of Desmins Independent Television (DITV) Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has blamed politicians for the retrogressive nature of Nigeria's educational system.

Speaking at the 2nd International Social and Management Science Research Conference, organized by Faculty of Social and Management Sciences of Kaduna State University (KASU), Baba-Ahmed said politicians are only interested in contracts and stealing of public funds rather than investing in education and bettering the lives of the people.
