Morocco Brings Books to Prisons

Rabat — Jailed Moroccans will have access to books, thanks to a new human rights partnership between prison administrators and universities.

"More than 5,000" books will be distributed to some 60 prisons across the kingdom, Moroccan National Human Rights Council (CNDH) Secretary-General Mohamed Sebbar said on March 14th, after signing the agreement with the Faculty of Arts in Rabat.
