Angola: Luanda City Holds Cholera Awareness Campaign

Luanda — An awareness campaign of fight against cholera was launched on Monday at Sambizanga urban Municipality, by the chairperson of the administrative commission of Luanda city, José Tavares, Angop has learnt.

According to him, cholera is an illness that affects everyone reason why it is important the people are engagement o its prevention or even eradication, accomplishing the medical guidance, such as to boil the water, wash the hands before and after the meals, wash the vegetables and fruits.

"Health is a good that deserves the attention and care of everyone, therefore we have been promoting this awareness campaign, through pamphlets distribution, with explanation about the causes and consequences of the illness", he said.
