Namibia: Knowledge Gap Breeds Corruption

Swakopmund — The Governor of the Erongo Region, Cleophas Mutjavikua, says many Namibians suffer from a knowledge gap that is a sure recipe for the misuse of power and corrupt practices in the public sector.

According to the governor, Namibians will eventually lose confidence in the country's judiciary if they do not receive proper public service as a result of tenders continually being re-advertised, while nothing is being done to those who are responsible for the blunders.
