Windhoek — The Agricultural Training Centre Krumhuk (ATCK) received N$220 000 from the Bank Windhoek' social investment fund to use for practical training courses, including the materials needed for the training.
The ATCK is a residential training institution that was established in 2009 and provides training in the areas of sustainable agriculture and farm household management to young Namibians who have completed Grade 10. Students are also exposed to the marketing side of farming through the supply of surplus produce to restaurants in Windhoek and farmers' markets.
