Cases of human- wildlife conflict in Laikipia County have escalated following drought in the area that has led to scarcity of wildlife food.In Rumuruti division of Laikipia West district, farmers are crying foul a herd of marauding elephants from Rumuruti forest invaded their farms yesterday and left a trail of destruction.
The farmers lamented that the Kenyan Wildlife Service has been reluctant in solving the problem, adding that they may result to alternative means.
