Tanzania: Chitengwa Likely to Retake TGU Job

TANZANIA Golf Union (TGU) has received CVs of two proposed Zimbabwean coaches to take over the national team job. The candidates include the former TGU Technical Director, Farayi Chitengwa. TGU Vice - Chairman, Joseph Tango, confirmed to the 'Daily News on Saturday' in Dar es Salaam that their Zimbabwean counterparts have provided them with CVs of two coaches this week for them to consider.

The other proposed name is that of former Zimbabwe national team member Tich Musemburi. He explained that they decided to turn their focus to Zimbabwe because they believe the Southern Africa nation has qualified coaches and has made remarkable progress in the game compared to Tanzania.
