Uganda: Wine, Blankets, Music At Kampala Festival

Kampala — Families made their way to the Uganda Museum grounds for the 6th Edition of the now popular 'Blankets and Wine' festival on Easter Sunday. However not all was rosy especially after the day started off with rain almost 'killing' the anticipated fun.

But by the time it was 1pm, the sun was out. Then it was time for the revelers to flock into the venue with their 'Shukas' in tow. Though the festival was 'Blankets and Wine' there was almost no one with a blanket and when a gentleman showed up with his 4X6 size blanket, there was laughter and even the media rushed to take photos of him. Even his friends who seemed surprised chose to keep a distance from this daring man.
