Nigeria: Ten Policemen Demoted for Corruption, Misconduct

The Kano State Police Command has disclosed that 10 police officers were demoted to various ranks over allegations of torture, corruption and unprofessional conducts.

The spokesman of the state Police Command, Mr. Musa Magaji Majia, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), told journalists in Kano Monday, that most of the cases were reported to the command Public Complaints Bureau.
