The Nigerian Bar Association elected its National Executives into office last August at its Delegates' Conference in Abuja and Mr. Okey Wali, SAN emerged as President. Barely nine months in office he has been described as a president in a hurry to achieve a lot. Jude Igbanoi and Yinka Olatunbosun met with him last Thursday in Lagos where he spoke on front-burner professional, national and international issues, including the recent ruling of the Federal High Court on the contentious increase in Bar Practising Fees

The Federal High Court delivered a ruling recently in the case of the lawyers who went to court over the increase in bar practicing fees. That ruling seems to have certain implications which some find confusing. What is the way forward?
