Ghana: Hearts Tame Lions to Push Themselves up the Log

A second half winner ensured Hearts of Oak kept the roaring Heart of Lions in check at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in the Glo Premier League.

Joseph Mugre grabbed the winner for the Phobians fifteen minutes before the end to win 2-1.

David Duncan's side, who had been battling t lift themselves from the bottom ranks of the table are now lying 11th on the log with ten games to go.

Lions drew first blood when Kweku Andoh struck in the 19th minute to silence the home support.

But eight minutes later, Mahatma Otoo drew the Phobians level before Mugre sealed the win in the second half.
